Family has always been at the centre of my life. After having children and spending more than a decade travelling the world with them, I returned to Melbourne in 2009 to settle down and spend more time with the people who matter most to me. Today, my children, grandchildren and family remain my world, and they continue to shape the way I approach both life and business.
When it came time to reinvent myself after many years as a full-time mum, I found my passion in real estate. It was an industry that immediately felt like the right fit, built around people, property, opportunity and relationships. Life later took me into finance, where I established, grew and ultimately sold a successful franchise business, but my connection to property never disappeared.
Now, with my children grown and my own life entering a new chapter, I have returned to where I believe I belong, combining my experience across real estate, finance, alternative funding and property development within an industry that genuinely inspires me, alongside people I trust and admire.
At the heart of everything I do is something quite simple, I enjoy helping people and bringing the right people together. Whether in my business or personal life, I have always been someone who connects people, shares opportunities and looks for ways to help others move forward. That philosophy has naturally become an important part of the way I approach investment and capital.
As co-founder of Altolio, established around a simple belief : compelling investment opportunities should not exist solely within institutional circles and closed private networks. Our ambition is to create greater access for eligible wholesale investors to carefully consider real-world investment opportunities, supported by the governance, transparency and investment management framework those opportunities deserve.
Through Altolio, we are building a digital investment platform designed to manage opportunities across our four key pillars of Property, Credit, Capital Markets and Natural Resources. My own foundation sits strongly within property and credit, where there continues to be significant demand for well-structured funding solutions and carefully considered alternative investment opportunities.
My role is ultimately about connecting capital with opportunity.
That means working with investors, developers, builders, business owners and investment professionals to establish compliant investment structures that provide access to capital while supporting the full investment lifecycle, from the initial opportunity and investment structure, through to capital raising and fund establishment, to ongoing management, reporting and investor relations.
With more than 15 years' experience across real estate, finance and alternative funding for SMEs, I have developed extensive experience in financial structuring, operational leadership, business growth and capital solutions. It has given me an appreciation for both sides of the investment equation, the people who need capital to bring an opportunity to life, and the investors who need confidence that their capital is being managed responsibly.
I believe successful projects and investment opportunities are built on strong fundamentals, realistic feasibility, planning certainty, experienced project teams, meaningful stakeholder alignment, sensible financial structures and well-considered contingency planning.
These principles underpin every opportunity I am involved with. For me, investment management is not simply about raising capital or completing a transaction. It is about creating clarity and alignment between all parties and establishing the structure, governance and communication required to give both investors and clients confidence throughout the journey.
Outside my commercial work, I am also a member of the Victorian Chapter of Suburban Futures, a not-for-profit organisation advocating for stronger suburban economies and more strategic investment in social and economic infrastructure. Its work through research, policy, events and thought leadership seeks to improve access to employment, education, parks, leisure and retail opportunities across suburban communities.
Across all of these areas, one theme continues to connect my personal and professional life, people.
I value relationships, introductions and collaboration. I enjoy seeing people succeed, helping someone find the right opportunity and connecting individuals who may be able to create something worthwhile together.
I believe access creates opportunity, whether that is access to capital, investment, expertise, networks or simply the right person at the right time.
My goal is to continue bringing together investors, operators, developers, businesses and investment expertise to create pathways for capital to be deployed into compelling opportunities that have historically been difficult to access, while building relationships that extend well beyond a single transaction.
